KangaWeb spokesperson, Nicky Adams, says that the new product, called "SpamBoxer", sets the standard as an anti-spam solution for websites.

SpamBoxer includes a simple wizard which lets users build their own list of blocking rules using any mixture of the following tools:

* Blacklists: Messages can be blocked based on any or all of the following anti-spam blacklists: SpamCop, ORDB, Osirusoft, SpamHaus SBL, DNSRBL and the Distributed Server Boycott List (DSBL);
* SPAM recognition software: The actual content of each message is analysed and the message is assigned a score which signifies how likely it is to be spam. Messages can be blocked based on the level of the spam score;
* Custom filters: SpamBoxer users can block messages based on their own rules. For example, you can choose to block all mail from
spammer@somedomain.com

Additionally, each user can choose whether to have spam messages automatically deleted, or to set them aside in a "SpamBox" for up to 14 days. The SpamBox can be checked when convenient to ensure that no legitimate messages are being discarded as spam.
