SAVVIS Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in North American Web Hosting Magic Quadrant

Web hosting provider SAVVIS announced that industry analyst firm Gartner, Inc. has positioned SAVVIS in the "Leaders" quadrant in the North American Web Hosting Magic Quadrant, published August 25, 2006, and authored by Gartner analysts Ted Chamberlin and Lydia Leong.

According to Gartner, vendors listed in the "Leaders" quadrant are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant is widely recognized as one of the most influential benchmarks for enterprises seeking to evaluate hosting services. It evaluates vendors according to financial health and completeness of vision - including product line breadth and functionality, successful implementations, and the ability to meet customer requirements now and in the future - as well as the ability to execute, which includes service and support, among other criteria.

SAVVIS' position in the North American Magic Quadrant comes on the heels of Gartner's positioning the company in the "Leaders" quadrant in the Pan European Web Hosting Providers Magic Quadrant, published May 30, 2006.
