WebHost Automation (webhostautomation.com), producers of leading Windows web hosting control panel Helm 4, have announced the release of their new Application Pack Support, a module that will enable webhosts to offer a far wider range of products to their customers.

Developed to enable the immediate integration of applications, this support enables webhosts to offer a broader range of services to customers who may then install them quickly and easily on any website. This will cover almost any new application, from forums and blogs, through to shopping carts and site builders, the addition of which will be as simple as the click of a button.

Since the release of Helm 4 last November, WebHost Automation has been working continually to release upgrades and extensions that enable higher levels of automation for webhosts. Adam Saunders, Founder and Chief Technical Officer at WebHost Automation Ltd, believes that webhosts will be able to gain more market edge by being able to offer almost immediate solutions.

“The support allows for a huge range of great add-ons for any website. Any Helm user can develop an application to use with this support, whether for themselves, or to share with other Helm 4 users,” he said.

“We’ll be posting our own applications via our forum, which will also be open to any Helm 4 users who wish to post their developments. Alongside this initial launch, we’ll be putting out application packs for DotNetNuke v3 and v4, SohoLaunch Site Builder as well as for OSCommerce, ZenCart, both of which support PayPal Express!” Saunders revealed.

Details for download options for Application Pack Support, as well as complete instructions on its usage and methods by which developers may develop their own application packs is available at http://www.Helm4.com.

WebHost Automation Limited is based in Bristol, United Kingdom, and has developed Helm, the only true multi-server control panel software for Windows.  Since start-up in 2002, WebHost Automation has grown steadily, and now has customers in well over 130 countries.  The Helm community can be found online at http://forums.webhostautomation.com
