Global Netoptex Selects TeliaSonera for Complete Gaming Networking Services

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- TeliaSonera International Carrier, Europes largest IP carrier, today announced that it will provide San Jose, Calif.-based Global Netoptex, Inc. (GNi) with its global IP network as GNi prepares to launch its new European expansion of the online games services platform from OGSi which will support more than 25 titles from multiple publishers and developers.

According to Derek Wise, GNi president and CEO, GNi plans to deploy the TeliaSonera International Carrier Global IP Network to provide the speed and reliability it needs to host its online gaming infrastructure. We selected TeliaSonera International Carrier in order to expand our operations into Europe and support the initial release of online games this summer, Wise explained.

TeliaSonera International Carrier in partnership with IXEurope will also provide GNi with high density collocation facilities located in Frankfurt, Germany.
