Aplus.Net Recognized by California Innovation Corridor Partners as an 'Innovation All-Star'

Aplus.Net, a leading web hosting company and Internet solutions provider, announced today its selection as one of the California Innovation Corridor’s “Innovation All-Stars.” Aplus.Net is among 75 finalists to be honored at the two-day California Tech 100 conference being held at the Irvine Hilton on April 24 and 25.

“We’re proud to be named among the very best in a state that’s well known for its technological innovation,” said Aplus.Net’s Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales Clarke Caines, who will be representing Aplus.Net at the conference. “Although our corporate headquarters has recently moved to the Kansas City metro area, our presence in California is still very strong, with a state-of-the-art data center and a large part of our sales team still based in San Diego County.”

This recognition marks the latest in a recent succession of awards for Aplus.Net. In the last six months, the company has also won top web hosting industry awards from HostReview, TopHosts, FindMyHost, Web Host Directory, and RealMetrics, among others.

“We believe innovation and entrepreneurship are the drivers of economic growth in California,” said Mark Mosher, Executive Director for the California Commission for Jobs and Economic Growth — a nonprofit corporation with members chosen by the Governor to advise him on how to expand jobs and economic growth in the state. “These Innovation All-Stars are models for our state.”

Managed by the California Space Authority (CSA), and administered through the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency (LWDA), the California Innovation Corridor is one of the state's initiatives to foster innovation and includes more than 60 partner organizations throughout 13 counties. It was Corridor partners that reviewed nearly 300 nominees before reducing the list of 75 Innovation All-Stars.
